A Brief Disturbance is a short drama of overarching dimensions. One single situation, a couple in bed at night, but standing for a whole sense of being alive.  The woman’s heart races at one point in the night, just a brief disturbance but one which unsettles the foundations of her life and love. Someone is there, something is different or is missing. Everything is strange, even the man next to her, for one long moment. Then the wave of uncertainty passes, her heart calms down and sleep is possible.
