1996Everything. In one Night.

Everything. In one Night tells the story of a young woman who claims the night and the city as her territory. She leaves behind the everyday structures which have become too peaceful for her in order to directly experience all the discoveries and emotions which her life so far has failed to provide in a single night. She deliberately goes looking for situations which until now have been alien to her up. And while doing so she remains a scrupulous observer of herself and others: she doesn’t want to go rampaging through the chaos of the night, but to experience, record, investigate, discover and understand. As darkness falls, she sets herself a target and a deadline. She wants to have been through everything by dawn, in order to be able to decide who she wants to return as and where she will return to or whether she wants to leave altogether.

World premiere on 1 November 1996, Kammerspiele Hamburg
